BioWe are GLISS - a band of three instrument swapping globe trotters. We come from all over the world. David, Martin and Victoria.We all sing,play drums,guitar and bass.
It all began in feb 2004 with our first show @ Star Shoes. Shortly after we were hand picked by Amoeba Records as Home grown artist of the month, charting #1. Toured the west coast, New York, and Europe.Our new album "Love the Virgins" is start to finish cosmic heart & soul.
The album was recorded in both Europe and our home town of Los Angeles and will be available on CD and for download from all major U.K. and European sites, including iTunes and karmadownload.
We have been on an amazing journey since the release of our EP, Kick in Your Heart, last spring. Critical acclaim in heavyweight titles such as the L.A. Times and LA Weekly, along with plays on cutting-edge radio stations KXLU, KCRW and Indie 103, have brought us to the attention of numerous music noteworthies, including Billy Corgan, BRMC and Editors who all asked us to support them on their European tours. Subsequent festival dates throughout the summer at Pukkelpop in Belgium, London’s TDK and Switzerland’s Musicfestwochen (where we shared a bill with The Raveonettes, Hot Hot Heat, Pixies, Magic Numbers and Prodigy)
In between recordings, we made several trips to the U.K. and Europe for more shows with We Are Scientists, She Wants Revenge and The Young Gods, along with our own headlining dates and a showcase at SXSW in Texas. Performed as the House Residency band at the coolest clubs in town: June of 2006 @ The Fold Silverlake Lounge & thee uber hip ECHO in May 2005.

Our first single, "Blue Sky" was a "Fresh Meat" winner on BBC1 (UK) Zane Lowe’s show – and our second single "Rugby Rd" got 5/5 stars in UK's "The Sun", which compared our sound to New York Dolls and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
We are usually described as fuzzed-up rock riffs and hypnotic soundscapes. Some say we are dark, sexy, psychedelic, and fierce. Come into our world so we can come into yours. We hope to meet you along the way.
